To me, what makes you a HOF coach is not how well your team does during the regular season (and Marty had some KILLER talent over the years) it's getting them to "the next level". We often talk about QB's if they don't win it all, we can't consider them one of the best ever...well, why does the same not apply to coaches? He's never even won a conference championship. From 94-2006, the man didn't win a playoff game, and he had amazing teams in 95, 97, 04, and worst of all 06. How can you explain his ineptitude in the playoffs when his regular season was so great? Of his 21 years, he came in first or second in his division 16 times (including 13 in row). Only came in worse than 3rd place 1 time! So how is it he couldn't win anything significant, and couldn't even make it to a super bowl???

Dude didn't get a SB, but he's been to the playoffs way more than Norv, Spurrier, or Zorn for that matter. Hell he has more playoff victories than all the NFC coaches combined(excluding Holmgren maybe).
