We haven't had a WR of real consequence. Even when chugging I think we fooled ourselves into thinking Moss was ever anything more than an average #1. CP had a couple of good years and Cooley was a stud obviously. Our QB hasn't been much better than average at its best. We've simply not been very good. But we always operate like we're just a few players away from glory. We're not. Haven't been. And now the blocks that kept us at least decent are old and ineffective. That coupled with poorish coaching and we're the worst team in the league or close to it.
