WE CANNOT DRAFT A WR IN THE FIRST ROUND AND EXPECT IT HELP US NEXT YEAR!!! Sorry but I had to yell that for all to hear. I have said this a million freaking times...good WRs take a couple years to make an impact. You can name like two or three WRs in the last 5 years that came in and offered the type of impact we need at the position. On the other hand...first round RBs, OL, DL and Safties often make big impacts. We have a need with at least one of those positions. Look guys, none of the WRs this year are sure bets by any stretch. If you look at first round WRs the last five years they are remarkably hit or miss. Generally when they hit they hit just a little (see fitzgerald...remember him? the greatest WR in college history he was called. he was also called the next Moss. He was certainly an impact player but not the kind we all want.) and when they miss they miss a lot(see our own Gardner). We are a team built for the next two year which means we need a draft a player that can come in and bw a force for us now. That could be difficult at the 9th spot but they'll be something better than any of the receivers. I might have to poke one of my eyes out if we draft a WR.
