I am far from a pessimist....I see the good that Betts could do for the team if the organization stops cow towing to CP because he has a bloated contract.
he is 28 by the way, with a ton of injuries piling up, thats far from "in his prime" by NFL running back standards.

We tried Betts before, I give him credit, he has had a couple good games. But we have saw this movie before. It ends with Tampa Bay winning the game because Betts fumbled on his only carry. A carry with no other purpose than to run out the clock. No one's cow towing to Portis by letting him start. He has earned his starting position. You not making sense. You seem to think Betts has not been the starter because of preferential treatment for Portis?
Betts fumbled his behind to the bench, and you know it.
