To be honest, if we can't land Cowher, i'm on board from promoting Lewis and Meidt: Lewis as HC and and Meidt as OC. Lewis is old, but the spark he's brought this team is undeniable. If he didn't want the job (and at his age, i'd understand), then i'm all for promoting Gray or bringing back GG. basically, our offense finally seems like its clicking and, unless we bring in Cowher, I don't want to see it change.

To be honest, I would no longer be as upset if Vinny sticks around. His 2008 draft picks all seem to be panning out nicely and he was on the money bringing in Lewis. Of course, if the rumors are true about Vinny bad-mouthing Snyder around the league, he might be gone no matter what.
I thought it might be Cowher, but he's apparently not in the mix at all. Shanahan still the rumored lead-but if Houston and/or Dallas come calling it will be a tough sell. Steve Mariucci not interested in moving east. If Houston lets Kubiak go...I'd like to consider him, but he's not an option right now. If Dallas hires Mike Shanahan, Jason Garrett could be an option...but I don't see it because of the backlash that would create (though I don't think that should dictate the decision). Brian Billick not being discussed as far as I know, though my gut still tells me he's in the picture. Other guys like Ron Meeks could get interviewed again. But I think at that point they're more likely to just stick with Zorn. And then there's Pete Carroll who is rumored to be near the top of a couple of team's lists (though not the Redskins) and who spoke at length with the Redskins the last time around.

As always, January-April will be fun for Redskins fans
