I am not sure about this, but someone missing what 8 or 9 weeks of the season due to a concussion has got to be extremely rare. He's on IR because he's been ineffective and we have far better options to run the ball. Since Portis has been out we have had a spark on offense. I like Portis, but we all pointed out that he seemed to have "lost a step"...he has a lot of miles on those legs, maybe it's time to part ways...especially with what we are paying him.
