Went to a bar tonight to see a friends band played and encountered the worst bartender ever. My friend ordered a beer, so the bartender opened a can and poured it into a glass. About 30 minutes later we went back to the bar and my friend tried to order another bar. He asked him what other types of beer they had and after telling him he flat out told him that he wasn't going to serve him unless he got a tip. My friend didn't hear him so he asked him how much for the beer to which the bartender repeated that he wasn't going to serve him without getting a tip. Personally I thought he was joking the first time, but sadly it turns out he wasn't.

Ironically we tipped our server 50% during a night cap, in part because the food and service were great, but on top of that we wanted to establish that everyone gets tipped more then this guy.

Also for the record this wasn't a nice lounge type establishment with nice furniture and music played at a decent volume. This was a dive bar in every sense of the word. Still Vinny Cerrato got fired today/yesterday so to be honest nothing can really ruin this day.
