I'd wager that almost all of us are ignorant about what it takes to lead an NFL franchise on the field as a quarterback, yourself included.
Many of us are not ignorant about what it means to be a leader of others, for as much as that analogy holds up compared to a football team.
Like many others who have not responded favorably to that last statement you made, I think your logic is faulty in this case. Jason Campbell may not be a Brett Favre kind of team leader (in fact he is not -- yet, and may never be).
But even Brett Favre is not responsible for making sure that the Minnesota Vikings are prepared to come out and execute as a football team on Sundays. The kind of leadership he exhibits is one of character, toughness, dedication, setting an example for the team to follow, and stopping the BS when it interferes with his ability to do any of the above.
I think Jason's done most of that this season. What he hasn't done was won games singlehandedly. Fault him for that if you will, but blaming him for the team's lack of readiness is way off base.
