Bingo. It works both ways. If the game was over, and if there was such a risk of injury, the Cowboys should have pulled Romo, Austin, Ware, and a few others. That would have sent the strongest signal that the dogs should be called off. Why should the Vikes fold up the tent, and let Romo and Co. take the field to pad their stats. And weren't the Cowboys talking trash during the week?

As long as the Cowboys are competing with every intention to score, I really don't get the reasoning that the Vikings should have called off the dogs.
