I realize that you're pissed, but you've been a member of this site for far too long and written too many posts to "throw it all away" by attacking the Redskins organization and fanbase. If you didn't want to read comments that would get you upset, you should have known better than to visit a website devoted to the Redskins following last weekend's game. I know I wouldn't have visited a Cowboys forum after watching the Redskins blowout; then again, maybe you like rubbing salt in your wounds.

SGG
I got precisely what I expected...precisely. I knew that after the loss to the Vikings that I would visit a forum dedicated to the Redskins and see yet another thread dedicated to bashing the Cowboys. And that thread has the most hits and responses.

I would bet, that if you kept any type of records on this forum, you would find that at a minimum of once a week, whether win or lose, there is a dedicated thread that bashes the Cowboys somehow, some way. Why should this week be any different than the previous 51?

But you know whats great about it? It's all in good fun, talkin a little smack here and there about our teams. Once it gets PERSONAL though (name calling etc) thats when it is not fun. But none of this trash talking has gotten personal. And I know that most if not all forum members here are not Eagles fans, so they are a better class of fan and wont take it to that level. If you ain't havin fun, we are doing this all wrong.

Quite to the contrary, I am not pissed at all. Sure it was an epic ass-whopping. But over 17 games played this season, Dallas never really got beaten badly in thier losses. In thier 5 regular season losses, the largest margin was 10 points, and that happened only once. The other 4 losses were by 6 points or less. So they only got thier tails whipped badly once. But that was in the divisional round of the playoffs. I am not pissed. Dissappointed, yes. But not pissed. After this season I really think the Cowboys have something to build upon. And if you look around the NFC East, they are really the only team that can say that. Giants - crumbling, Eagles - crumbling, Redskins - rebuilding. Who has the best momentum moving forward into 2010 in this division? Not pissed, actually encouraged.

Of the 4 teams in the NFC East, only Dallas IMPROVED from the 2008 season. Romo had one of the best seasons of his career. Only 9 INT's in the regular season. The defense really started to gel. And they won a playoff game. The other 3 teams in the division all took steps backwards.

Additionally if history has anything to do with it. The last time the Dallas Cowboys got blown out by a 30 point margin in the playoffs was in 1991 when the Lions (yes the Detroit Lions) beat Dallas 38-6. Oddly similar is that the Cowboys posted an 11-5 regular season record that season too.

The season following that blowout, the Cowboys went 13-3 in 1992 and marched all the way to win the Super Bowl. Pissed? Hardly. My preseason expectations for Dallas was a 9-7 record and missing the playoffs. The exceeded my expectations. So I am not pissed at all.
