In a capless year, i think we break the record for spending in free agency and worry about any potential consequences when the cap is reinstated later.

The mere thought of having Wilfork, Haynesworth, and Montgommery on the line with Peppers and Orakpo rushing from the outside makes me shudder. The key, as always, will be having sufficient depth so we don't overwork those guys.

Bruce Allen has publically stated that the #1 reason he and Shanahan will succeed whether other great men have failed (Gibbs, Marty, Norv) is the lack of a salary cap. The skins are going to be big spenders in this offseason. As long as we keep our draft picks, i'm happy.
that would be scarey good shit for sure. i would really like to see us get peppers at LEAST and draft some young talent to fill in where we need a starter or depth. I dont like the idea of having a patriot-esque team where its filled with guys that are on the downturn of their careers and hope for one or two more good years. i hope they dont go to far overboard cause last thing i want to see is in a year or two if the salary cap is reinstated them have to purge the team to get under the cap figure. I really want to see a decent season out of the skins tho dammit lol
