I imagine Shanahan talked to BA and got his opinion, and maybe Snyder's to, but it's Shanahan's call to make. Sometimes when you've been a bad relationship for a long time, when you get out, you still don't know what a good relationship even looks like. That is the best explanation I can come up with for a LOT of the fan comments I see and hear.

I agree with that; I wasn't trying to say that Allen should've been making that decision or anything.
