He was a rookie coach though so what was the expectation. If he was hired in the first place it was because management believed in his system and his implementation of it.
I'm sure after their hours of interaction during the interview process that management was able to come away with an informed enough decision to entitle him to that. Zorn wasn't even given time to see his rookie draft class in their 3rd NFL year.
That's one of the ways one can tell that informed decisions are not being made because they are not being stuck to. The person behind the decision knows they don't have the aptitude necessary to stick behind the choices being made...thus the constant turnover in personnel and coaches.
