Now JJ Reddick, as much as I hated playing against him, was a dominant force in the ACC.
Though it is worth pointing out that he's named after Juilus Erving and Walt Fraizer, hence his name Juilus Fraizer Peppers.

I suppose i wasn't clear earlier. As you say, Peppers is a much more successful football player than in basketball. Who really knows? The real point is that it takes a special athlete to compete at a high level in two sports. Deion Sanders, arguably the best cover corner to play in the NFL, wasn't the best pro baseball player (.263 career average) but he was a special athlete. Bo was a shooting star. I'd loved to have seen him have a full career. And for Peppers to play and start at UNC, a top-5 collegiate basketball program in the USA is special and he has the talent and ability to make the transition to cover as a LB.
JJ Redick is a cry baby and players from Duke (short of Grant Hill) are overrated. I loved that interview when he actually cried about the MD fans harassing his sister. somehow they got her phone number.
