So your banking on the fact that we can pick up OL, OL, OL. Make sure we suck enough in order to place high enough in the 2011 draft in order to pick up a Franchise QB like the Jets did. OK. I got it.

I on the other hand have a bit more faith in Shanahan and doubt we end up anywhere close to the 4-12 season and no where near the top 5 in next years draft. Which means we will have a mediocre QB whether we keep JC or not, Colt, and some aged Vet you guys are wanting. Yeah good idea.

Basically here's the problem, there are a lot more talented OL on the board vs. QB's. There are a lot more OL that could easily be starting almost half way through the draft list of OL. But only about 3 QB's would be worth starting either this year or next. Most would have to be heavily coached up with the intention of being utilized in about 3-4 years. JC will be gone next year. I think he's tired of the BS, plus the owner is tired of the mediocre performance. So we can draft a top notch QB this year, pick up a bunch of OL, and throw the QB on the field next year after he's had a year of learning or we can forgo the position to pick up OL this year when they have the deepest OL draft and pick up a mediocre QB next year since we will be farther down the board and throw him to the fire under an awsome OL. My opinion I'd rather have the QB learning for a year and ready to step in next year when JC leaves, thats if he doesn't get picked up by someone this year.
