Yes our new approach is better. Yes our old old approach wasn't very good. The intervening approach was solid yet unproductive. No one ever talks about the year Gibbs came back and signed guys who actually worked out. They conveniently forget the signings of Griffin and Washington. I buy that going strictly the FA doesn't work a lot. I don't buy that it has been as bad as it gets portrayed like 31 other teams had the right idea and Danny-boy didn't. Ugg.
I'm sick of this too. It's like every sports writer has 5 to 7 sentences about the Redskins, they shuffle them and come up with a "new" story. Also, no one ever thinks to say, "Hmm, maybe the coaching staff didn't do a good job in using these free agents".
