Is it a foregone conclusion Carter doesn't fit in a 3-4, or Hybrid or whatever the hell Haslett has in mind?

I ask because Carter has seemed to improve his run stopping over the last couple seasons. He weighs in about 253 which is obviously small for a 4-3 RDE but the dude is ridiculous strong and last season seemed to get lots of push even coming inside the LT.
