Re: What Are You Reading?
I just picked up With The Old Breed but I haven't started reading it yet. It's memoir of Eugene Sledge and is one of the books that The Pacific on HBO is based on. For those who watched the premier on Sunday, Sledge is the kid in AL who's father wouldn't let him join the USMC because of his heart. From what I've heard this is supposed to be one of the best books written about WWII from a soldier's POV.
I'm in the middle of reading another book now and I want to watch all of The Pacific before I start reading but I am really looking forward to this one.
