Well the broil came out great but I was just caught off guard by the new kingsford coals. I don't buy real big London Broils because I think the smaller ones are more tender and marinate better.I use natural hardwood coals called cowboy charcoal
Cowboy Charcoal Co. which is also a hot coal which is good for steaks. I think the problem I had with the kingsford is that I let them get too hot from the start. I know now not to leave the grill open while they finish lighting or to cover them for a few minutes before throwing on stuff like chicken.
