As far as distractions go, all he has to do is show up! No big deal. Do what you're supposed to do, man. It ain't hard. I'll bet anything from dollars to doughnuts, if he stays and this year's Skins don't live up to it's potential, I'll guarantee you that AH will be the first one bitching and moaning about playing in a 3-4 and how it wasn't a good idea. I can see it coming.
