I agree with everything you said (except the last sentence, of course).
For the life of me, i don't get why so many her:
1) completely discredit JLC;
2) put 100% faith in everything Schefter reports when there are multiple, obvious reasons why we should question what he says about the skins; and
3) treat everything the FO or coaching staff says as gospel, when misdirection and deception are every team strives for this time of year.
Personally, if JLC or another sports analyst says one thing, and the team is saying the exact opposite (either through official channels or through schefter), it makes me 100% convinced that the report is true and the team is lying. When the reports agree with what the team is saying, its
then that I have no idea what to beleive.
