Yes, having Marshall here would have been great, but the team had nothing to bargain with. They have no 2nd or 3rd this year, and no 3rd next year. They had no realistic way to get Brandon. What surprised me was that they didn't make a play for Kevin Walter. He knows Kyle's system, and would have been an excellent possession receiver.

Maybe they thought Kelly would step-up, but once mini-camp started, it became obvious that he doesn't have it.

I am assuming that Kelly is the weakest link, but maybe Santana has lost an extra step. Either way, I don't expect Moss on the team next year.
