This is all about the toe injury. It has been from the beginning. Coles was/is in denial that he can still do what he did before it. Gibbs saw how he performed and used him how he determined was best. Obviously they disagreed.
Also, Coles said he "didn't sign up for" Gibbs run-oriented offense. Well, the Redskins did not "sign up for" a receiver with a bad toe that can only perform at about 80%.
I have no sympathy for this guy.
