and this goes to my post above regarding the younger generation of hispanics in CA (and I assume AZ). literally, if you were (for my homie FD)an american shirt on any of their holidays, they view that as dissent from their demands and take it as a provocation to violence or hatred or intolerance.
just not a good way to try and peacefully assimilate both our cultures if any given mexican holiday only mexican flags can be waived or worn in the US. these teenage hispanic kids are going malcolm x when they should be going MLK.
when you hold a cesar chavez or cinco de mayo festival in america, maybe include both national flags and not demand only the mexican flag gets represented.
