It's not that I don't think it can work, but just a word of warning that these sum of all parts scenarios usually play out a lot better on paper then they do in real life. It's great though that we finally have a QB. I'm looking forward to which random nobody breaks out and has a big year kind of like Pierre Garcon and Ben Utecht for the Colts in recent years.
The Westbrook scenario though reminds me of a timeless GTripp quote on par with Lotus's banned winning quote in that we are continuing to acquire players in our attempt to win the 2004 NFC East.

I definitely see where these statements are coming from, especially knowing that Shanahan wasn't exactly a perennial late-postseason attendant. However at this point there is no guarantee that all 3 of the current vets make it. I hope that Shan doesn't keep guys on based on previous merits, but we have yet to see even one season under his talent evaluation
