Here is my issue. I don't live there. I'm not right in the mix of all the problems. I don't feel I should have a say in what the "Americans" can and can't do who are actually going through the problems.
I will say that what irritates me more then anything is the fact that people fail to realize illegal immigrants do not have the same rights as Americans. I still can't figure out how or why "Citizen rights" quickly got meshed and confused with "Human rights." When you look at the Amendments those are rights designated for "Citizens." Especially the Bill of Rights. Only refers to Citizens. If your not a "Citizen" those rights don't apply to you. The Feds, local police, ICE whoever are not breaking any laws agains illegals when they don't have those rights granted to them. The only people who might have a leg to argue about is the "legal immigrants." If I was of hispanic origin and kept getting stopped and harrassed about papers I might get upset.
In my book, Human rights should only pertain to making sure they are not bleeding to death. Otherwise, ship them back.
I do find the rules regarding Cubans funny and unfair compared to other illegal immigrants. If the Cuban makes it to the US and touches soil they can stay. No one can deport them. lol.
