What would they base their suspensionon?

Certainly if Santana's admission in Sept '09 was videotaped I could see the NFL suspending him.

If Santana signed a written statement admitting to it, I could see a suspension.

Unless the NFL is granted access to the prosecutors file which contains direct incriminating evidence or admissions on santana's part , I dont see how the NFL can take action right now. Although, Im sure they will after taking the necessary steps to gather evidence to support their position to suspend him and reduce his ability to earn a living.

So far, its reports and articles that santana admitted it. I think the NFL needs Santana to admit it or have trustworthy and reliable documentation evidencing that he admitted it.
