I would have said the same thing if Bush or McCain was in office and allowed unsafe drilling. From what I have read it sounds like Bush may have just been lucky that we did not have any oil spills durn his watch. I think we need to drill for oil but I want every safty standard set high so we don't have spills like this. The worse case here should have been a small oil spill with very little damage to the environment. Now is not the time to point fingers but time to figure out how to stop this oil leak and thats my issue with Obama. He should have a large task force down there trying to figure out how to stop this leak but instaed they want to do an investigation. The investigation can wait and at that time let the heads roll. Fine the shit out of BP or anyone who allowed the safty rules to be broken.
