Yeah that's obviously way early. My first was an accident for us at age 27 (my wife is the same age as me). If all went according to our master plan, we'd be having our first right about now, when we're 30.
But it all worked out, I got far along enough in my career to allow my wife to stay home full time with the kids. I felt that was important, and boy does it make it easier to deal with the day-to-day stuff when somebody's at home to deal with it. All I do is cut the grass each week.
But yeah, you're talking like practically ruin your life type early. Having kids before you're done college means getting a job just to make ends meet and putting longer term goals on hold. That's sad.
