There you have it. The difference between a sure HOF player (Lewis) and one who has the talent to be a HOF player but lacks the character and commitment to his team to achieve his stated goal of becoming a Hall of Famer (Haynesworth).

If Haynesworth had dedicated himself to the program the way his teammates have done, we'd all be praising him right now and we'd be looking forward to seeing him dominate for the Redskins during the regular season. But, as it stands, most of us can't wait until he is traded or cut.

Haynesworth will never be great because, unlike Ray Lewis, he's not made out of the right cloth.
Yep, that's pretty much it right there.

Someone like Lewis plays for the love and respect of the game. He wants to be remembered for his play on the field and his impact on the game. He cares about his legacy. He gets it.

AH on the other hand is just out for the $$. Too bad because the guy could be one of the all time greats if his head was screwed on right.
