Wow. great sense of moderation. You're right, b/c demagogues and evil individuals used hyperbole and fear mongering to completely sublimate individual rights to those of hte state, there is never an instance where society has a right or interest in examining the societal health and attempting to come to a balance between that and individual liberties.
