One would think there would be bad blood between Vick and Quintin Phillips as a result of the dog fighting incident which all but ruined Vick's football career and cost him more than twenty months in federal prison. Unless that bad blood has received a transfusion (which would have required contact or communication of some sort) the question in my mind is, why would Phillips want to be around a man he virtually snitched on and caused so much agony? I can see no reason why Phillips would feel the need to show up at a Vick party where he might not be well received unless he felt reasonably assured there would be no repercussion. Or, did he go there with the intention of settling an old score with Vick that maybe we don't know about?

Thats a good question. If MV tried to keep away from this guy, and the guy is still trying to get back in MV's good graces and MV doesn't want anything to do w/ him maybe the guy is asking for trouble. You sell your friend out to save your own self and expect to be welcomed back dont expect a warm reception.
Now shooting him is going over board. There is no reason for that whoever shot should have just punched him like a man.
