I think you have a point. It's also kind of funny that Roydell is doing really well, despite having been cut the last two years. Maybe the fact that Moss, Thomas, Kelly, and ARE were all guaranteed roster spots under Vinny had something to do with him being cut.
Still either way, in spite of Shanahan's ego you have to admire his willingness to have an actual competition. Doesn't matter where you were drafted or for the most part how much money you make. The best players will play.
One thing though that kind of worries me is I haven't heard much about Galloway on the field. Austin, Armstrong, Furry, and Williams have all drawn praise for at least one on field play yet the only thing I hear about Galloway is that he's working with the first team.
