We could end up finishing the year better than the Vikings, something I would not have said last week with the assumption Favre would be back. Now Sidney Rice may need hip surgery.

McNabb is buying into the Redskins as a system and winner. You can tell he's excited about being here. He'll sign.

The labor issues are what's preventing the contract...and it's happening to many players other than McNabb.
