Right now I'm coming up on 107,000 miles. The repair dude says I'm gonna end up having to get a timing belt put in. Apparently those things run like $2,000. Ughhh.

If you pay $2k, you are getting ripped off. Don't pay over $1k for it. $200 in parts, 4 hours worth of labor.
Also, you should get this done soon. I think Honda recommends it be done at 110k miles with your model/year.
