I'm not sure you can make that assumption.
Our 3-4 was getting slashed by the run....until....they put 4 or 5 on the line after a quarter or so....did this correspond with Haynesworth playing more...a bit...but I saw a few time Haynesworth single teamed successfully...yes...he penetrated a few times too...and that is good...but he certainly did not look dominant.
What I think is the key is if Haslett learns from this game and plays 4-5 on the line when playing the run. I also noticed a couple linemen from last year that now play LB...when they lined up at end on the line...they tore it up.
Pretty simple...these pass rushers are used to having their hands in the dirt.
I am pretty sure we have yet to establish a rush from the olb position while standing up....this transition is going to take a long time....I hope Haslett doesn't rush it because when we play a scheme close to last year....we do a solid job against the run.
