Well at the time it was a prudent idea. Now in hindsight AH is not helping his cause. He says he doesn't like the 3-4 defense and made a spectacle about this whole situation. Had he came in healthy and fit and played lights out it would have made it a lot easier for us to trade him if thats what he wanted. See teams are looking at him now thinking possible problem player who is out of shape and can't last a full game. Other teams are not going to want him and the ones that do will offer minimal trade bait.

All I can say is if I was the owner I'd tell the GM and HC that if what "I" wanted in return for him was not met then AH could sit on the bench in uniform each game so I could watch the 21 mill I spent each and every game. Plus I'd want the fans to enjoy what 21 mill brought to the city.

I mean why give a guy 21 mill then "give" him even more of what he wants and release him. At what point do the Skins get what they wanted? A player who would be dominant at their position for 21 mill. When does that happen? and if it is not going to then the Skins should atleast be closely compensated for the 21 mill they did spend. Either give it to us in draft picks or players or a combo of both.

or simply return the damn money. AH has practically committed fraud. He's taken money and he's not performing at the level the team expects him to. Imagine paying your mechanic $10,000 to fix your car and when you get it back it sputters, shakes, or wants to stall periodically. I think you'd be complaining to the mechanic or possibly taking him to court for fraud. Taking your money and not fixing the problem. Thats exactly what AH has done. He took the 21 mill and has not fixed his endurance and looked bad playing against the Cards.
