Except that there secondary is their weak link. There were many plays where Sanchez had time to throw but didn't get the ball out or threw a check down. It really looked like he was afraid to throw deep.
And their final drive - horrible. They got the ball at their own 30'ish w/ 1:37 to go. plenty of time to get into field goal range (and then some). They took 37 seconds to go 10 yards AND called their final time out. Sanchez showed
no urgency in lining them up or hustling downfield. He certainly wasn't trying to throw it downfield.
Unless he speeds his game up
a lot and takes some shots downfield, he is the next USC QB washout. He looked very much like a 2nd or 3rd stringer to me.
