Last week, the NFL gave Jay Ratliff a $5,000 fine for a roughing the passer penalty against Washington's Donovan McNabb as a violation of the Brady Rule.
This week, look for Igor Olshansky and Keith Brooking to hear from the league.
Brooking had an unnecessary roughness penalty in the first quarter when he lifted up quarterback Jay Cutler and rammed him into the turf. Olshansky had a roughing the passer penalty when he hit Cutler a little late for a 15-yard flag. Old-time football fans probably hated both penalties, but the NFL will do anything and everything to protect the quarterback.
And while it was not a penalty in the game, Chicago's Charles Tillman could also hear from the league for making contact with Tony Romo's head while on a blitz.
