No, VJ can't teach the 3-4 to our defense so we might as well forget even trading for a WR even though we only have one catching anything. Lets over look that the only threats we have and utilize is Moss, Cooley, and Portis. No need to bring in another WR to help out Moss unless he can teach the 3-4 to the defense.

I sure hope the same standard is being used for whomever should be brought in on the defensive side of the ball..... hopefully they know how to teach our WR's to catch, run routes, and block.
Given our offensive performance against the Texans, I would say that we can produce on that side of the ball. It seems that a lot of the drop off this week came because of Trent Williams being out (exposing the lack of depth in our line), probably still having running issues, and our defense failing to stop a rookie QB leading a Jackson-less Rams offense.

While WR is still an issue (and it will be if MS insists on putting Old Man Galloway and Roydell Williams; not to mention maybe McNabb not being able to trust a WR not named Santana Moss), I don't think it is to a point where the team must bet the farm through picks and a high contract on a talented WR that already has off the field issues, will most likely be suspended for a long time the next time he messes up, and whose GM will not trade because they are making him an example.
