Keep in mind that Fletcher isn't protected by a scheme that foolishly tried to funnel all action to him. Fletcher was great, and has been a great player for a long time, but his tackle numbers were always inflated by the fact that the Redskins would never allow you to get a body on him (by ensuring you got a body on everyone else).
In this defense, he takes on blocks and his tackle numbers are down. He also doesn't get a lot of help directly in front of him. It's tough being London Fletcher these days but he's made it up in coverage and is doing any and everything we ask of him and he's having a great start to the season, IMO.
Fletcher is struggling with minutae, but he's good enough to overcome it.
