The fact that nobody would even give up a 7th rounder for him says 2 things: the rest of the league agrees with Shanahan, and/or they knew he was going to be cut so there's no use in trading for him.
Anything higher than a 7th rounder would have been a pipe dream anyway. The guy hasn't done squat.
