Devin Thomas is either going to sink or swim in Carolina, nothing in between. They have no choice but to throw him out there and use his talent in making plays. This is a desperate signing for a desperate team. They have no names in their receiver corps aside from Steve Smith, who is questionable for Week 7 as it is. And to top it off, they have 2 inept quarterbacks, and if Tony Pike gets any snaps during the bye week, he could be starting come Week 7.

Devin Thomas was given plenty of chances here in Washington to establish himself. He rubbed Shanny the wrong way and never got out of the doghouse. He could very well be another stud receiver that the Redskins blew their chance on. However, considering no one (The Pats traded back for Deion Branch for pete's sake) wanted to take a chance on him, I don't see it happening that way.
