Casserly's Plan B free agent signings were a significant factor in the '91 Super Bowl season. Perhaps his greatest draft was his last as a GM for Houston in 2006. He netted 4 strong starters (DE Mario Williams, LB DeMeco Ryans, OT Eric Winston, and TE Owen Daniels). He deserves credit for resisting the temptation to draft Reggie Bush or Vince Young over Williams, who clearly turned out to be the best player from that draft.
