Well I can't speak to the cost. But there most definitely is a comparison to the timing and "overall ridiculousness" of the trip

I don't expect you to have any understanding or appreciation of "the festival lights" since it's not an American holiday

Do you not think that Obama also meets with foreign leaders on his vacations? As Nancy Reagan once said "Presidents don't take vacations, they just have a change of scenery"

And what do you mean he never goes to Camp David? He's been there about 8 times the last two years. Maybe it's not the 150 or so times Bush went, but it's not like he never goes
