I won't be surprised if that was the case and if he worked out here even better. In the end the NFL is a business and maybe the McNabb move was just that a business move to hide the fact we have a long way to go.
If DS and company came right out and said this was a rebuilding year the bottom line for 2010 would look a lot different then a win now attitude about 2010.

This time last year a great deal of anxiety existed among the fan base, something had to be done to fan the flames. The business side of the NFL begs to ask: How do you maintain excitement and enthusiasm among the fan base while simultaneously selling them on a rebuilding project?
