Another small piece of advice, get a HDMI cable to hook things up from your box to the TV. It's the best quality cable you can use, otherwise you're not getting everything you can out of your TV.

Thanks for the info. I just figured that when direct TV said they have so many HD ch. I had them when I hooked up the TV. Now they want $100 for a box and I got ticked and told the guy to go F%#$ them self. I have had their service for 10 years and they can't cough up an HD box. If I was a new customer they would give me the boxs and a few free movy ch.
