Well at least that's the name your parents gave you and what you're known by in the records.
When I was in class I always cringed knowing my name would be first on the list due to the first letter of my last name, and my first name is not the name I use. I always hated introducing myself to new friends/other people as my middle name and whenever roll was called in class my teacher would say my first name and everybody that knew me would go,"huh, I thought he said his name was this, not that." Besides the incessant questioning about why I chose one name over the other, it's really annoying.
