Not nonsense. Maintaining obscurity as part of a security profile is fundamentally more secure. Is obscurity the only aspect? No. Is it the most important? Not even close. Is it worthless? No it isn't. Stop being a dope about it. How one can argue that obscurity doesn't offer security advantages is odd to me.
