Saying this defense is an embarrassment is truly an understatement. Most of the talk following the game has been centered around the play of Rex Grossman, and based on his performance [minus the turnovers] was remarkable considering his limited playing time since 2008. Four TD passes, 322 yds.....numbers that should on most Sunday's produce a win, left the team just short once again.
This team needs more of a fix on defense than any other part. The offense demonstrated yesterday that it's major deficiency this season has been it's signal caller. Granted, Grossman's performance came against the 25th ranked defense in the league, there was still a fluidity to the offense not witnessed before.
